Garden Party
This garden party can make little girls feel very grown up and big
girls feel young again. That was my intentions when I created this party.
Strawberries, lemons and butterflies were my inspiration. The menu can be used for a
little girls party and also for a grown up luncheon. For the grown up girls you can leave out the
"summer garden adventure". However it is your party so if you want to play "go for it!"
Who doesn't want an adventure every now and then?

Garden Party Decoration Ideas
Start out by hanging different shape and color
lanterns
over your party table. You will need:
1- 8 inch pink paper lantern
1-10 inch blueberry paper lantern
1-10 inch coral paper lantern
1-24 inch yellow star lantern
If you do not have a place to hang the lanterns you can use balloons of the same colors instead.
Here is a fun project that you will need to do before the party. Go to your local garden or home improvement store and buy a nice container for the middle of the table. You will be growing real grass prior to the party. Your centerpiece is going to be potted grass with cute little
butterflies
poking out of your grass centerpiece.

Potting soil
Wheat grass seed
Instructions
Add a drainage hole to the container if it does not have one already. Fill with potting soil. Plant grass seed about 1/8 inch deep, and then water. Place container in sunlight and water every two days. Grass should be ready in 5-7 days.
Setting the table
Use a
white table cover
on the table. Set the table with
grosgrain border yellow square dinner plates
top the dinner plates with a
rose grosgrain square dessert plates
add a burst of color with a tulipmania ivory luncheon napkins, finish your table setting off with hot magenta utensils
and
mimosa 9 oz. hot/cold cups.

When you make the toast points you can either make the traditional toast points by cutting the toast in four triangles or use the
